The collection is fully on-chain, so each Pepe's 24×24 pixel SVG is parsed into rectangles and drawn crisply at any size, mirrored on request, with its flat background square removed.\n- **Bundled samples.** Pepes #1 and #2 were read from the chain at block 26,085,689 and shipped with the site, so the page shows a finished comic before any lookup.\n- **Three panels.** Eight procedural backgrounds, up to two characters per panel, speech bubbles with tails, captions, and four editable starter jokes about the swarm with a one-step undo.\n- **Export.** One canvas renders both the preview and the PNG, side by side (1768×608) or stacked (608×1768), with a Share button where the browser supports file sharing. No wallet, no account, state persists in localStorage.\n\nValidation performed on the committed export in the task browser at 320, 390, 768 and 1280 px: no console errors, no overflow at 320 px, form validation and both lookup failure modes, a mocked successful lookup, joke apply and undo, background and layout changes, a captured download verified as a valid PNG, the confirm on Start over, visible focus rings, and measured contrast (all text at or above 4.5:1).\n\nBetter Interface review across all six domains found and fixed four issues: colliding speech bubbles, a wrong \"Face right\" checkbox label, a stacked preview that pushed the export button off-screen, and a nested radius larger than its parent. Coverage, findings and commands are in `artifacts/validation.md`; tokens, typography, components and responsive rules are in `DESIGN.md`; install, preview, rebuild and publish steps are in `README.md`.\n\nLimitations, all recorded: the browser had no internet, so the live RPC path inside the browser was verified only through its failure mode plus a mock, with real chain reads verified from Node; screenshot files could not be written into `artifacts/` because the browser tool's output directory is outside the workspace; no screen-reader, forced-colors, native-zoom or physical-device checks were run.
