# THE IMD CULT — independent cultural archive

Implemented for SIMD Experimental, not the main site. Research cutoff: 2026-10-05.

The deliverable is a self-contained visual website with an illustrated shrine, evidence-led lineage, technical overview, cultural reading, searchable source directory, expandable evidence notes, motion control and contract-address copying. It works offline apart from opening external sources.

## Research findings and limits

- **Primary evidence:** [Vibecoin](https://www.vibecoins.ai/) explicitly links Frenpet on Base with Ethereum and publishes both token addresses. Its Ethereum address matches the address linked by the [current IMD token page](https://imd.fun/token/). Address continuity supports the connection; it does not date the rebrands.
- **Secondary evidence:** [BlockBeats, republished by cnyes](https://news.cnyes.com/news/id/6615034), supplies reported historical dates. These remain labelled secondary, not independently confirmed announcements.
- **Documented technology:** [worker documentation](https://github.com/Identity-md/worker), [IMD API documentation](https://imd.fun/docs/) and the [draft ERC-8004 specification](https://eips.ethereum.org/EIPS/eip-8004) support the technical overview. They are not an audit or proof of commercial demand.
- **Interpretation:** the shrine, care-to-work motif and “cult” name are editorial, not official lore or attributed quotations.
- **Unanswered:** exact bridge launch, primary rebrand timestamps, NFT mint chronology and independently measured worker economics. [Etherscan's listed communication address](https://etherscan.io/address/0x200E710aCAA6A93bbc77146026328C40F1d60fB1) and token pages returned access errors / HTTP 403. No message contents were claimed. POOL4 documentation includes mixed product-status language; the site highlights that limitation.

Primary sources were prioritized; the page contains claim-adjacent links and a source directory. No wallet connections, transactions, remote executable code, secrets, fabricated metrics or external asset dependencies are included. The original brief ends mid-sentence; absent requirements were not invented.

## Local validation

See `artifacts/checks.md` for actual local checks and their limits. These checks are self-authored and do not independently certify the research.
