# Merge 03: imd.fun quote attempts 041–060

## Scope and counting method

All 20 named JSON inputs were present and readable. This is a synthesis of their recorded evidence, not an independent replay of API calls. The inputs contain `reached_quote`, `price`, `evidence`, `steps`, `stuck_at` and `reply`, but no original `ask` field. The four asks below are reconstructed from the submitted objectives and replies; exact original user wording cannot be recovered from these files. Each source note identifies the supplied input and its digest.

An evidenced quote means the record describes a request-specific POST to [imd.fun's quote API](https://api.imd.fun/requests/quote), HTTP 201, a quoted order and a payment amount. A capabilities-page price alone would not qualify. These are recorded response fields or agent summaries, not independently authenticated response transcripts. In particular, summaries do not prove every accepted input field was preserved; this limitation applies most strongly where no accepted body is supplied (for example 049 and 054).[^a049][^a054]

## Counts by ask

| Ask (reconstructed) | Attempts / sources | `reached_quote=true` | `false` | True claims without API-acceptance evidence | Quotes supported by recorded API evidence |
|---|---|---:|---:|---:|---:|
| Research the five biggest tokens on Robinhood Chain | 041[^a041], 045[^a045], 049[^a049], 053[^a053], 057[^a057] | 5 | 0 | 0 | 5 |
| Build a one-page bakery website | 042[^a042], 046[^a046], 050[^a050], 054[^a054], 058[^a058] | 5 | 0 | 0 | 5 |
| Find the CryptoPunks floor price right now | 043[^a043], 047[^a047], 051[^a051], 055[^a055], 059[^a059] | 4 | 1 | 0 | 5 |
| Get one quick BTC trade call for today | 044[^a044], 048[^a048], 052[^a052], 056[^a056], 060[^a060] | 5 | 0 | 0 | 5 |
| **Total** | **20 attempts** | **19** | **1** | **0 of 19** | **20 of 20** |

Attempt 059 is a false negative under the assignment's quote-only definition: its `reached_quote=false` and `price=null` conflict with its own evidence (`HTTP 201`, `order.status=quoted`, `oracle.request`, payment amount `500000000000000000`, 18 decimals) and reply saying imd.fun accepted the request and quoted 0.5 IMD. It stopped because no actual floor-price answer arrived before payment. That is a distinction between a service quote and the purchased answer, not evidence that quoting failed. Its evidence lacks an order ID, unlike the other 19 records. No true claim rests solely on a page price.[^a059]

## Prices and acceptance evidence, attempt by attempt

Every listed service quote is **0.5 IMD**, i.e. **500000000000000000 atomic units at 18 decimals**, on returned primary payment network **Ethereum / eip155:1**. This is a service fee, not a token valuation, CryptoPunks floor price or BTC trading price. The table lists every recorded quote and order; sources contain the response fields or summaries. “4663 also” means the record explicitly reports a same-price alternate payment offer on Robinhood Chain, not a different research or deployment target.

The records describe 10-minute quotes for 041–058 and 060; 059 supplies no expiry. These are historical recorded offers, not promises that those orders remain payable. Most records explicitly give `purchase=action-admission` and `resultGuaranteed=false`; 046 does not include those terms in its recorded response, and 059 records only the guarantee flag. Admission must not be described as a guaranteed delivered website, report or oracle answer.[^a041][^a042][^a043][^a044][^a045][^a046][^a047][^a048][^a049][^a050][^a051][^a052][^a053][^a054][^a055][^a056][^a057][^a058][^a059][^a060]

## First opened imd.fun URL and skill discovery

This counts explicit URLs in `steps`, retaining slash variants. It counts each attempt once, not individual repeated fetches. For grouped first steps (041, 044, 048, 055, 057), the homepage is first listed alongside other discovery URLs; their internal fetch order is not separately established.

| First explicitly listed URL on the apex imd.fun host | Count | Attempts / sources |
|---|---:|---|
| `https://imd.fun` | 10 | 042[^a042], 043[^a043], 045[^a045], 046[^a046], 047[^a047], 050[^a050], 051[^a051], 052[^a052], 056[^a056], 058[^a058] |
| `https://imd.fun/` | 9 | 041[^a041], 044[^a044], 048[^a048], 053[^a053], 054[^a054], 055[^a055], 057[^a057], 059[^a059], 060[^a060] |
| `https://imd.fun/docs` | 1 | 049[^a049] |

Thus 19/20 first list the homepage when slash variants are normalized; 049 first lists the API capabilities endpoint (`https://api.imd.fun/requests/capabilities`) overall, then OpenAPI, and only then the apex-host documentation URL. If “imd.fun URL” includes subdomains, 049's first URL is that capabilities endpoint; the other 19 remain homepage-first.[^a049]

**8/20 explicitly opened `https://imd.fun/skill.md`:** 041, 044, 048, 053, 054, 055, 056 and 057. The remaining 12 do not record opening it; absence from these summaries does not prove it was never opened. The skill counts are taken from `steps`, not mentions or links in `reply`.[^a041][^a044][^a048][^a053][^a054][^a055][^a056][^a057]

## Stuck causes

Only one `stuck_at` is non-null. The other 19 are null (the attempt table accounts for all records), so they have no final stuck cause to group. Quotes below come from different fields of the same affected record; a second affected attempt does not exist.

| Final cause | Count | Two short source quotes |
|---|---:|---|
| Expected the oracle's answer before payment, despite already receiving a service quote | 1 (059) | `stuck_at`: “IMD's accepted quote was only for purchasing oracle execution”; `reply`: “it did not provide the floor price without payment.”[^a059] |

Resolved problems in `steps` are useful context but are **not** additional non-null `stuck_at` cases:

| Resolved friction | Attempts (count) | Two short quotes |
|---|---|---|
| Python HTTP/JSON access failures; curl retries reached a quote | 042, 043, 045, 050, 051, 052, 053, 056, 058, 060 (10) | 042: “Attempted GET https://api.imd.fun/openapi.json using Python urllib (403)”; 056: “received HTTP 403, error code: 1010.”[^a042][^a043][^a045][^a050][^a051][^a052][^a053][^a056][^a058][^a060] |
| Web reader could not access API endpoints; curl succeeded (overlaps preceding row) | 051, 058 (2) | 051: “Web tool could not access URL”; 058: “Retrieved both with curl instead”.[^a051][^a058] |
| Chain-evidence oracle formulation rejected; panel-evidence retry accepted | 055 (1) | “HTTP 422 ambiguous_question”; “with the same body and evidence 'panel': HTTP 201 created:true”.[^a055] |

The Python-failure count includes 053's unparseable response, whose HTTP status is not supplied, and 050's first error with unrecorded status plus its second 403. For 052 the concurrent Python reader raised 403 without reporting each remaining endpoint's result; this does not establish that every endpoint returned 403.[^a050][^a052][^a053]

## Choices and differences within each ask

These variants matter: the attempts obtained quotes for related but non-identical agent-selected definitions. They should not be collapsed into one uniformly specified request.

| Ask | Attempt-specific choices and qualifications |
|---|---|
| Robinhood Chain top five | 041: chain 4663, USD market cap with labelled FDV fallback, native ETH excluded, discuss wrapped ETH/stablecoins if top-five relevant; current sourced Markdown, default GitHub publication. 045: circulating USD market cap, verify actual chain token identities, disclose if fewer than five verifiable, Markdown, at least five citations, GitHub off. 049: title “Robinhood Chain Top Five Token Research”, label `robinhood-top-five`, chain 4663, research template, five-member panel/quorum 3; no exact ranking definition or full accepted input is supplied. 053: circulating USD market cap, current sourced Markdown, five citations, GitHub off. 057: fully diluted USD market cap with DEX liquidity/TVL fallback, exclude ETH/WETH. These ranking and exclusion policies differ.[^a041][^a045][^a049][^a053][^a057] |
| Bakery website | 042: Golden Crumb Bakery / `golden-crumb-bakery`, warm mobile-friendly static information page, unknown business data editable. 046: Sweet Crumb Bakery / `sweet-crumb-bakery`, hero/menu/hours/contact-location. 050: Golden Crumb Bakery / `golden-crumb-bakery`, GitHub delivery, omit unknown real details. 054: Golden Crumb Bakery explicitly called a placeholder, same label, hero/menu/hours/location-contact, placeholder address/hours/prices; label availability not checked, and its reply claims IPFS/ENS pinning without returned hosting proof. 058: Hearth & Crumb Bakery / `hearth-and-crumb-bakery`, GitHub source and IPFS hosting, unknown hours/contact editable. Static site requests do not need a deployment chain; quoted payment was Ethereum, with alternates reported by 046/054.[^a042][^a046][^a050][^a054][^a058] |
| CryptoPunks floor now | All choose original CryptoPunks on Ethereum, not Wrapped CryptoPunks. 043: official marketplace public active minimum ask, panel 5/quorum 4, one-hour context/validity, zero tolerance, observation time when panel runs. 047: active public original-punk listing, panel 5/quorum 4, 24-hour window/validity, 100 bps tolerance, pinned blocks 26314390–26321570. 051: lowest publicly available ask, panel 5/quorum 4, 24-hour context explicitly not an average, latest live data, 100 bps tolerance. 055: original market contract, public minimum at closing block, one-hour window, blocks 26321271–26321571, panel 5/quorum 5, zero tolerance, validity 3600 seconds, guards 1 to 1e23 wei; chain recipe rejected before panel retry. 059: current listing floor, CryptoPunks label, Ethereum, wrapped excluded; other panel/window details absent. Quotes buy an answer request; no actual floor answer is recorded.[^a043][^a047][^a051][^a055][^a059] |
| BTC call today | All use a one-off research report rather than executing a trade. 044: 2026-11-01 UTC intraday BTC/USD, long/short/flat, entry/stop/target, one-page sourced rationale. 048: same UTC day, BTC/USD spot, confidence level and disclaimer; notes no trading-specific skill found. 052: UTC day, title “BTC quick trade call - 2026-11-01”, label `btc-call`, Markdown, two citations, GitHub off. 056: UTC day, BTC/USD spot buy/sell/wait with trigger/invalidation/target, titled Markdown, GitHub off. 060: November 1 in **Europe/Berlin**, label “BTC quick call”, long/short/no trade, sourced Markdown, GitHub off; its reply omits that timezone choice. The UTC/Berlin day and differing stance definitions should remain visible.[^a044][^a048][^a052][^a056][^a060] |

## Payment, signing, wallet and key behavior

**Paid: 0 reported; signed: 0 reported; connected a wallet: 0 reported; asked for a private key: 0 found.** All 20 records state they stopped without payment/signing/wallet use in `steps` and/or `reply`; these are source reports, not an independent on-chain audit. The per-attempt sources above cover the complete set. Fresh bearer request tokens and request UUIDs, where described, were locally generated quote identifiers, not a request for the user's wallet key.[^a042][^a043][^a046][^a051][^a052][^a056][^a058][^a060]

Some replies go beyond the quote to propose a future payment: 041 asks the user to choose a wallet and sign payment themselves; 044, 054 and 057 ask which wallet/chain pays; 048 asks for permission from a wallet holding IMD; 055 asks whether to pay or change the definition. Those are future-action suggestions or wallet/chain questions, not evidence of a payment, signature or request to disclose a private key. 054 also asks for real business details. No record shows an execution/submit action after its accepted quote.[^a041][^a044][^a048][^a054][^a055][^a057]

## Source register

Each footnote refers to the supplied JSON, not to a newly fetched web page. `evidence` supports API/status/price findings; `steps` supports navigation and transient failures; `stuck_at` and `reply` support the final blockers and stated behavior. Digests below were computed from the source files. API and documentation URLs are provenance recorded by these attempts, not independent verification in this merge.
