# moneycanbuy.fun promo film

The final deliverables are `promo-9x16.mp4`, `promo-16x9.mp4`, `music.wav`, `poster.png`, and `contact-sheet.png`. The poster is the vertical cut at 22.000 seconds. The contact sheet contains one vertical frame at each whole second from 0 through 29.

The score is an original, sample-free C-minor trap/phonk synthesis at 108 BPM: dark pad, triplet hats, distorted 808, snare and kick, riser, and synthesized on-beat effects. There are no vocals or lyrics. The bass enters at 5.0 s, ducks to near silence from 20.6–21.1 s, re-enters at 21.1 s, and stops at 26.6 s. The edit uses downbeat cuts at frames 150, 217, 283, 350, 417, 483, 550, and 618. These are the nearest 30 fps frames to the seven 2.222-second bars starting at 5.0 s. Each green `DONE` appears on beat four of its bar. The final 1.5 seconds are still.

## How it was made

Each filmed scene started as its own still made with OpenAI's built-in `image_gen` tool; the tool did not expose its exact model identifier. Each still then drove a separate image-to-video prediction with Replicate's `wan-video/wan-2.2-i2v-fast` at 720×1280, 30 fps. All type, UI, receipt/cup/check wording, `DONE` stamps, flashes, coin animation, speed changes, and framing were added in the edit with Python and Pillow; no text was requested of the video model. The supplied mark and wordmark were copied into `assets/` for the render. The burger mascot still was **regenerated and edited once** after review to replace M-shaped background signs with abstract toad-foot forms; its motion clip was then generated from that revised still. The vertical render was regenerated once more to remove a duplicate white receipt graphic.

The wide edit is a separate full-frame composition of the moving footage with a moving, blurred background, a sharp portrait action panel, and native wide typography. It has no letterbox or black side bars. The generated source motion is 720p and was upscaled for both final H.264 files.

Tools used: OpenAI built-in `image_gen`; Replicate API and `wan-video/wan-2.2-i2v-fast`; FFmpeg/FFprobe 6.1.1 with libx264 and AAC; Python 3.12/3.14, NumPy 2.5.4, Pillow 12.3.0, FontTools 4.67.0; `curl`, `uv`, and `dpkg-deb` for obtaining the offline tools and packages. Quicksand Bold was instantiated from the Google Fonts variable Quicksand file and bundled under the SIL Open Font License at `fonts/OFL.txt`. The submitted source bundle retains the Quicksand Bold font, its license, the supplied mark and wordmark, and FFmpeg/FFprobe. The large model stills, source motion clips, render scripts, and Python wheels are omitted from the submitted source bundle to meet its 8 MiB limit; the finished media files are self-contained.

## Review and limitations

The contact sheet and seven stamp frames were reviewed. FFprobe reports 900 video frames, 30.000 s, the stated dimensions, H.264 video, and AAC 48 kHz stereo audio for both cuts; both are under 60 MiB. The X teaser link returned HTTP 403, so its playback could not be inspected. Source model motion is generated at 720p; in-scene text on moving cups and paper is an edit overlay and may not track perfectly at every frame. The five delivered media files are self-contained. The promo contains original generated people and footage, parody environments only, and no real brand logos or song samples.

moneycanbuy.fun may use and publish all five deliverables without attribution. The bundled Quicksand font remains under its SIL OFL license.
