# Pepe2Pepe — Take the other side

Finished deliverable: `video.mp4` — 15.000 seconds, 1920×1080, 30 fps (450 frames), H.264/yuv420p video and AAC stereo audio at 48 kHz. File size: 3,633,310 bytes (3.47 MiB). MP4 faststart verified: the moov atom precedes mdat.

## Sources
Live browser captures of https://pepe2pepe.fun and https://pepe2pepe.fun/guide, plus current market pages /robinhood/market/10, /robinhood/market/12 and /market/3. Official artwork: https://pepe2pepe.fun/brand/pepe2pepe-v2.png and https://pepe2pepe.fun/brand/pepe-face.png. These remain unaltered artwork, composited into the film. Site and brand belong to their respective owners; used for this commissioned marketing task.

## Editorial approach
0–2.5: official logo, recognizable Pepes, exact URL and “I bet you.”
2.5–6: real homepage and current market questions; “Your question. Someone else’s take.”
6–10: actual fixed-odds market controls; “Pick a side.” and “Fixed odds. Funded on-chain.”
10–12.5: actual guide/Oracle information, with explicit research and operator-review role.
12.5–15: logo, URL and “Take the other side.”

The product is permissionless peer-to-peer prediction markets. Accepted odds stay fixed; earlier backing matches first. Funds are on Ethereum or Robinhood. No NFT is required. Oracle research currently includes operator review before settlement. No trading, wallet connection or fabricated market data is used.

## Tools and limitations
Chromium/Playwright live captures, Python/Pillow compositing and original synthesized music, FFmpeg encoding. The installed Replicate video service was attempted but returned HTTP 402 insufficient credit; local editing supplies the finished film. Screenshots document a point in time; current markets can change. Camera motion and emphasis are editorial overlays, not website functionality. Source/editing assets are in `production/`.

## Audio and licenses
Original 120 BPM electronic instrumental and transition hits are synthesized mathematically in `production/audio.py`, with no stock music or third-party audio samples. The original composition and production scripts are provided under CC0-1.0. English narration is synthetic Microsoft Edge `en-US-GuyNeural`, generated via edge-tts; no real person's voice was cloned. The voice files and finished 48 kHz stereo mix are included, so playback and rebuilding do not call any speech service. This is not a claim of exclusive ownership of the synthetic voice. Voice-generation service terms continue to apply. Music sits beneath the narration; the mix is unclipped.

Barlow Condensed, Space Grotesk and IBM Plex Mono were obtained from the Google Fonts repository; their SIL Open Font License files are included beside the fonts. The delivered film has no runtime package dependencies beyond a standard MP4 player.

## Source and rebuilding
The source package preserves compositing/audio/capture scripts, original PNG artwork, browser captures, licensed fonts, narration clips and the losslessly compressed FLAC audio master. To re-edit, run `python3 production/rebuild.py` in an environment already providing Pillow, NumPy and FFmpeg (or set `FFMPEG` to its executable). These authoring tools are not bundled: their redundant installation archives caused the source upload to exceed 8 MiB. Consequently, rebuilding is not self-contained in a bare offline environment; the finished MP4 is complete and requires no build or network access. Original rendering used Pillow 12.3.0, NumPy 2.5.3 and FFmpeg 7.0.2. Live acquisition scripts document provenance; recapture or voice regeneration requires internet, Playwright/Chromium and edge-tts. Original acquisition used Playwright 1.63.0 / Chromium 153 and edge-tts 7.2.8.

The reference completed job https://explorer.imd.fun/jobs/e154da77-66eb-4c2b-9904-0f82d02be6c1 was inspected in Chromium. Its published MP4 plus repository delivery informed the packaging, not this film's brand or copy. Delivery files are left untracked for the IMD daemon; no external publishing or wallet transaction was performed.

## Capture observations
Captured September 30, 2026 after browser hydration and additional waits. The homepage showed 10 markets, 5 open. Market #12 (Quotrons) displayed 40% YES / 60% NO and 50 IMD volume. Robinhood market #10 (IMD above $10) displayed 50% / 50%, 320 USDG volume, and 300 USDG available backing. The two board cards shown are real homepage pixels; separate detail captures of both markets and Ethereum #3 are also preserved. The expanded guide states 50 requested agents, 33 valid agreeing answers, and operator review as the current default. The film does not portray these open markets as resolved.

## Final verification
FFprobe results are preserved in `production/verification.json`. All 450 frames decoded successfully. FFmpeg blackdetect found no black intervals. Decoded audio mean level was −22.1 dBFS and peak −2.2 dBFS; no clipping was detected. Opening, homepage, board-card, market-control, Oracle and closing frames were visually inspected, including a contact sheet extracted from the encoded MP4. Exact `pepe2pepe.fun` spelling, intact official artwork, real loaded market data and readable key captions were confirmed. Authoring-tool archives were removed during the source-size repair; they are not needed for playback. Audio was verified by decoding and signal analysis; this environment did not provide a separate speaker-playback audit.

Creative limitation: footage uses genuine browser screenshots animated with optical pushes, floating artwork, moving reflections and beat cuts, rather than a screen-recorded trading interaction. The site occupies the middle section. No loading skeleton, fake balance, transaction, outcome, chart pump, autonomous settlement claim or guaranteed profit is introduced. The Oracle shot preserves dense real documentation as visual context; its short overlay conveys the research/operator-review role.

## Packaging repair
Removed redundant authoring-tool installation archives and replaced the PCM WAV master with lossless FLAC. Preserved the finished MP4 unchanged and retained source/editing assets. Source assets total approximately 6.77 MiB, below the 8 MiB upload limit. Rechecked all 450 frames, codecs, audio levels, faststart and representative frames after repair. No black intervals or decode errors were found.
