# Fren Pet Costume Contest 2026 — Group 2, Judge 4 Status: **judged**. I visually inspected the [collage](https://fren-pet-h2026-collage.rckmtlshared.chatgpt.site/FPCC-2026-actual-entries-A-G.png), the [normal-pet reference](https://fren-pet-h2026-collage.rckmtlshared.chatgpt.site/Fren-Pet-normal-appearance-reference.png), and every individual crop linked below. Only visible costume elements informed this preference; backgrounds, labels, screenshot quality and intrinsic pet traits received no credit. **[A](https://fren-pet-h2026-collage.rckmtlshared.chatgpt.site/FPCC-2026-entry-A.png):** A horned gold-and-red helmet matches layered shoulder, torso and leg armor; an ornate upright staff stands beside the pet. A convincing, richly detailed warrior outfit with excellent coordination and a clear dressed-up silhouette. **[B](https://fren-pet-h2026-collage.rckmtlshared.chatgpt.site/FPCC-2026-entry-B.png):** A dark metal helmet has a slotted face guard, a red glint in its visor and a small pale cat-face ornament with a red bow. The stern helmet and cute ornament make a memorable contrast, but the visible costume feels concentrated on the head. **[C](https://fren-pet-h2026-collage.rckmtlshared.chatgpt.site/FPCC-2026-entry-C.png):** A pale spotted cap is paired with a sheathed sword bearing a gold guard, patterned sheath and red ties. A clean, distinctive pairing with a useful prop; the costume changes less of the overall silhouette than my higher choices. **[D](https://fren-pet-h2026-collage.rckmtlshared.chatgpt.site/FPCC-2026-entry-D.png):** A crooked pointed hat with an orange jack-o’-lantern motif tops a purple, ragged cloak, glowing eyes, suspended skull ornaments and green wisps below. A striking spooky transformation whose coordinated colors and surrounding ornaments make a strong magical character. **[E](https://fren-pet-h2026-collage.rckmtlshared.chatgpt.site/FPCC-2026-entry-E.png):** A large curly brown wig and beard accompany blue painter clothing, a raised brush and a wooden easel displaying mountains, trees and water. An immediately readable painter costume with an unusually engaging prop scene; the miniature landscape makes it especially memorable. **[F](https://fren-pet-h2026-collage.rckmtlshared.chatgpt.site/FPCC-2026-entry-F.png):** Gold-trimmed dark armor and a horned helmet coordinate with purple flame-like accents, a curved purple blade and a dark, pointed-eared companion with glowing purple eyes. The most commanding ensemble for me: detailed armor, weapon and companion form one cohesive fantasy costume. **[G](https://fren-pet-h2026-collage.rckmtlshared.chatgpt.site/FPCC-2026-entry-G.png):** A black-and-gold bicorne with a round badge accompanies a dark formal coat, pale patterned front and a small gold-rimmed tube held outward. A polished naval-officer-like outfit that sits naturally on the pet; restrained and coherent, though less spectacular than the leading entries. **Preference order:** F > E > D > A > G > C > B. **First — F:** F wins for its cohesive transformation: the gold armor frames the pet neatly, while the purple blade, flame-like accents and matching dark companion extend the same visual theme beyond the head. The ensemble has the strongest overall wow factor. **Runner-up — E:** E deserves runner-up for turning the pet into a recognizable painter through coordinated hair, beard, clothing and brush. The easel’s tiny landscape is a substantial, readable prop that gives the costume a memorable activity and identity. **Third — D:** D deserves third for its complete spooky silhouette, from the bent pumpkin-themed hat to the tattered purple cloak, skull ornaments and green wisps. The visible result feels like a unified magical transformation. **Uncertainty and close choices:** F and E are close: E has the more distinctive everyday-character idea, while I prefer F’s overall visual impact and coordination. D narrowly edges A because its spectral silhouette feels more transformative to me; A’s armor and staff are exceptionally cohesive. Character labels are visual interpretations, not confirmed identities. I did not count natural ears, tails, faces or markings as costume details. **Limitation:** None preventing judgment.
