# Fren Pet Costume Contest 2026 — Group 1, Judge 5

Only visible costume elements inform this ballot; backgrounds, labels, screenshot quality and intrinsic pet features receive no credit.

- **[A](https://fren-pet-h2026-collage.rckmtlshared.chatgpt.site/FPCC-2026-entry-A.png):** A gold-horned helmet, layered red-and-gold armor, shoulder guards and boots accompany a tall decorated staff. **Impression:** An exceptionally cohesive warrior outfit, with ornate detail carried from head to feet.

**Preference order:** F > E > A > D > G > C > B

**First — F:** F deserves to win for the coherent black, gold and purple ensemble: elaborate armor, the luminous-looking curved blade and the shadowy companion create a memorable complete transformation. The visible costume details reinforce one another without obscuring the central figure.

**Runner-up — E:** E deserves runner-up for turning the pet into an instantly recognizable painter, with hair, beard and clothing supported by a brush and a remarkably legible miniature landscape on an easel. The props give the costume a distinctive sense of character.

**Third — A:** A deserves third for its beautifully coordinated horned helmet, layered armor, boots and decorated staff. Its rich red-and-gold detailing gives it a convincing fully dressed presence, although E's painter scene is more distinctive to me.

**Uncertainty and close choices:** F and E are close: E has my favorite narrative idea, while F wins my overall preference through its dramatic silhouette and coordinated costume details. Character identities are interpretations, not confirmed facts; G's handheld tube is not identifiable with certainty. Natural pet faces, ears, markings and tails receive no costume credit.
