# Merge 05: attempts 081–100

## Scope and evidence standard

All 20 named input JSON records were present and readable. This merge evaluates their recorded `steps`, `evidence`, `price`, `stuck_at`, and `reply`; it does not independently replay requests or verify server logs. References [081]–[100] link to the supplied records, whose original logical paths are `artifacts/goal/items/attempt-NNN/result.json`. The original user `ask` is not separately preserved in these records: the ask groups below are reconstructed from the submitted objectives and replies. Exact fidelity to omitted original wording cannot be established.

A supported quote here means the record identifies a request to [the quote API](https://api.imd.fun/requests/quote), an HTTP 201 response, a quoted order, and a payment amount. A capabilities-page price or a successful free check alone would not qualify. The evidence consists of agents’ saved response fields or summaries, not independently authenticated transcripts.

## Counts by ask

| Ask reconstructed from records | Attempts | `reached_quote=true` | `false` | Claimed quotes lacking API acceptance evidence |
|---|---|---:|---:|---:|
| Research the five biggest tokens on Robinhood Chain | [081], [085], [089], [093], [097] | 5 | 0 | 0 |
| Build a one-page bakery website | [082], [086], [090], [094], [098] | 5 | 0 | 0 |
| Find the current CryptoPunks floor price | [083], [087], [091], [095], [099] | 5 | 0 | 0 |
| Give one quick BTC trade call for today | [084], [088], [092], [096], [100] | 4 | 1 | 0 |
| **Total** | **20** | **19** | **1** | **0** |

All 19 true claims have recorded quote-API acceptance and a price, rather than only a price read on a page; the per-attempt ledger below identifies that evidence. Attempt [088] explicitly records HTTP 403/error 1010, `reached_quote=false`, and `price=null`. None of the records establishes that imd.fun cannot perform an ask: the sole unsuccessful attempt stopped at an access error, not a rejection of the job’s subject matter. [088]

## First URLs and skill.md usage

From `steps`, **12/20** attempts explicitly opened/fetched/read `https://imd.fun/skill.md`: [082], [084], [085], [086], [089], [090], [092], [093], [096], [098], [099], [100]. Attempt [096] first failed in a web viewer, then fetched it directly with HTTP 200, so it counts once. A mention of the skill URL in a reply is not an additional opening.

The remaining **8/20** do not record opening that URL: [081], [083], [087], [088], [091], [094], [095], [097]. This means “not recorded,” not proof it was never visited.

All **20/20** first opened the homepage, with the spelling in their first step as follows. There is no first visit to a deeper imd.fun path or to its API/Explorer subdomains in these records.

| First imd.fun URL as recorded | Count | Attempts (`steps[0]`) |
|---|---:|---|
| `https://imd.fun` | 9 | [081], [083], [085], [086], [089], [090], [094], [097], [100] |
| `https://imd.fun/` | 11 | [082], [084], [087], [088], [091], [092], [093], [095], [096], [098], [099] |

Trailing slash variants are the same homepage for the substantive first-entry count. Origin headers in [087] are explicitly described as headers, not opened pages, and were not counted as visits.

## Per-attempt quote and choices ledger

Each source link covers that row’s `price`, `evidence`, `steps`, and `reply`. “201” below refers to POST `https://api.imd.fun/requests/quote`; the order identifiers are copied from those fields. Every successful row reports **0.5 IMD = 500000000000000000 atomic units at 18 decimals**. This is the service admission fee, not a token valuation, BTC trade result, NFT floor price, or delivered website.

### Prices, payment chains, and limits

There is one quoted price level: **0.5 IMD in 19 attempts**; [088] has none. No USD equivalent is supplied. The records’ explicit quote-payment objects or price fields identify Ethereum `eip155:1`, with IMD asset `0xd34a99bc0f67ae1bbd63c660e6d0b0dd03e263b7`; [085] and [093] give the amount/quote acceptance but do not preserve a full quote-payment network object. Their replies describe Ethereum and Robinhood payment options. See each successful ledger row’s source.

Robinhood Chain 4663 as an alternative payment option is expressly claimed in [084], [085], [086], [090], [091], [092], [093], [098], [100]. The Robinhood token address `0x5f7bb59365ce557c26dbcaa4ee9d39a4b95b7127` is recorded in [084], [085], [086], [093], [098], [100]. These are the attempts’ alternate-option claims; the preserved canonical payment objects, when shown, specify Ethereum. This merge does not promote the alternate chain to a separately demonstrated accepted quote or imply that the research subject chain is the payment chain.

All 19 successful records describe admission pricing and/or `resultGuaranteed=false`; no finished work is demonstrated by obtaining a quote. Ten-minute/600-second expiry is recorded for every successful attempt except [095], which preserves neither issuance nor expiry. Some replies call quotes already expired; those are source statements, not evidence of a later cancellation or payment. [081]–[087], [089]–[100]

## Causes grouped from stuck_at

The following groups partition all 20 `stuck_at` values. The two non-null groups have only one member each; their two short quotations therefore come from different fields of that same record, not two independent attempts.

| Cause / interpretation | Count and members | Two short source quotations |
|---|---|---|
| API access failure before quote | **1**: [088] | `stuck_at`: “HTTP 403, error code 1010”; `steps`: “No price quote was returned.” |
| Stopped after quote, before paid oracle answer; authorized endpoint already reached | **1**: [095] | `stuck_at`: “obtaining that result requires payment and submission”; `reply`: “imd.fun did not return the NFT floor price itself.” |
| No recorded stuck cause (`stuck_at=null`); quote reached | **18**: [081]–[087], [089]–[094], [096]–[100] | [082] `steps`: “Stopped here.”; [097] `steps`: “Stopped; no submit or payment calls.” |

Thus `stuck_at` is non-null in two records, but only one failed to reach the requested quote milestone. The absent CryptoPunks answer in [095] is an expected consequence of stopping at the quote, not contradictory evidence against its successful quote claim.

Transient difficulties that were repaired should not be counted as final stuck causes: [082], [083], [094] record OpenAPI HTTP 403s recovered with curl; [087] records check/quote 403s and rejected Origin headers before a successful quote; [089] and [099] recovered check 403s; [097] recovered a quote 403. [096] recovered `429 request_limit`; [091] obtained a quote despite a full-form check returning `400 invalid_request`; [093] attributes an initial 400 to malformed JSON after missing local jq and then succeeds. Local missing-python extraction errors are also recorded in [089] and [097]. These are observations about the recorded clients/requests, not proof of a service-wide outage.

## Differences and fidelity caveats

- **BTC route and time differ:** [088] used an oracle prediction over the next 24 hours; the four successful BTC attempts used research reports. [084], [092], [100] used today in UTC, while [096] used Europe/Berlin and allowed a wait call. These cannot be treated as identical objectives, even though they belong to the same reconstructed ask family.
- **Research ranking differs:** [085] permits holders/transfers as fallback, [093] liquidity/holders, whereas [089] and [097] emphasize market cap and disclosing unsupported rankings. [081] additionally asks for last-90-days developments. These choices are retained rather than flattened into a common exact request.
- **“Current” CryptoPunks floor differs:** [091] restricts coverage to the original onchain market and the end of a one-hour window. [087] uses a one-hour window; [083] and [099] record server-prepared 24-hour windows. [099] initially mentions `toleranceBps:0` in its check description but does not preserve that field in its final full request. A quote does not establish that these windows satisfy an omitted original “right now” requirement. No actual floor answer is supplied. [083], [087], [091], [095], [099]
- **Website details differ:** the names/labels and treatment of unknown business information vary as shown in the ledger. [094] explicitly requests `github:true`, while [082] avoids invented details and ordering. Claims that a label was free are based on `unknown_label` lookups in [086], [090], [098], not a demonstrated reservation. [086] and [098] describe future hosting, and [098] additionally claims ENS publication; no deployed website is evidenced.
- **Replies sometimes overstate capability:** “can do this” or “can build it” is supported here only as API admission/quote acceptance, with result guarantees expressly disclaimed. “No refunds” is asserted in [085], [086], [098], but their preserved quote excerpts establish non-guaranteed results rather than independently documenting a refund policy. [098] says the service does not take dollars; the saved quote demonstrates an IMD option, not exhaustive exclusion of every other payment method.

## Payment, signing, wallets, and keys

**No attempt records paying, signing, or connecting a wallet (0/20 each). No attempt records asking for a private key or seed phrase (0/20).** Every record’s `steps` and/or `reply` expressly stops before payment/signing/wallet use; some successful evidence additionally preserves `paidAt:null`. This is an audit of supplied records, not an independent transaction-history check. [081]–[100]

Several replies ask for later authorization or wallet selection: [084], [085], [093], [098], [100] ask which wallet/chain should pay; [092] says payment needs the user’s wallet and yes; [081] says proceeding needs an IMD-funded wallet/Permit2 allowance; [086] points to paying from the user’s wallet. These are follow-up payment discussions, **not requests to disclose a secret key**, and no resulting payment or signature is recorded. [088]’s “generated request key,” and the other attempts’ requestKey UUIDs/client-generated bearer tokens, refer to API request identifiers/authentication, not wallet private keys. [081]–[100]
