Each run re-called loader.load_strategy_factory and the engine builds a fresh Strategy per run. No run failed (result.failed false for all 1000 runs). Each simulation ran serially in-process, but to fit the time limit the 500 seeds were split into disjoint seed ranges run in up to 8 separate Python processes at once; some seeds were run twice due to resumption after a process kill, and the duplicate results were identical, confirming per-seed determinism. seconds_per_simulation 3.53 is the wall time per simulation measured on a single-process calibration run of 2 seeds on a shared, contended machine (CPU time ~1.65 s); with parallel processes wall time per simulation per process was about 7.5 s. se = sample sd (n-1) of d / sqrt(n). retail_diff/arb_diff are mean per-seed CANDIDATE minus BASE retail_edge/arb_edge. d rounded to 6 decimals. In this block d is exactly 0 on every spread-1 and spread-4 seed (wrapper changed nothing there); the whole gain comes from spread 2 and 3. Mean excluding the single largest seed (700964, +86.34) is about 0.377."}
