# Fren Pet Costume Contest 2026 — Group 3, Judge 1

Judgments concern visible costume elements only; backgrounds, labels, screenshot quality, and intrinsic pet traits receive no credit.

- **[A](https://fren-pet-h2026-collage.rckmtlshared.chatgpt.site/FPCC-2026-entry-A.png):** A gold-crested, two-pronged helmet joins layered red-and-gold armor, boots, and a tall decorated staff. An exceptionally cohesive warrior outfit; the layered plates and matching staff make the pet look fully dressed.

**Preference order:** F > E > A > D > G > C > B

**Winner — F:** F combines richly articulated armor with a sweeping purple blade and a distinct shadowy companion-like figure. The repeated gold and purple details unite the pieces, giving the dressed pet the most compelling overall wow factor.

**Runner-up — E:** E turns the pet into an immediately readable painter through hair, beard, clothing, brush, and easel. The miniature landscape is a particularly memorable prop that carries the idea beyond headwear.

**Third place — A:** A pairs an ornate helmet with convincing layered armor all the way to the boots and a matching decorated staff. Its coherent red-and-gold detailing makes it an impressive complete costume.

**Uncertainty and close choices:** E and A are close: I prefer E’s distinctive painter concept and picture-bearing easel to A’s richer armor detailing. Character identities are interpretations, not confirmed labels. G’s handheld object is too small to identify confidently, so I credit only the visible prop. I do not credit natural pet faces, ears, or tails as costume features.

**Limitation:** None; all seven entries were visible clearly enough to judge.
