# A WORKER’S DAY — round 4, step a

Four original screen-print scene families. Every worker uses a square-outline body with a smaller diamond at its centre. Round and shield badges, warm muted inks, open space and oversized everyday objects carry the quiet joke; no rendered words appear in any artwork.

## 1 — Long Break

**Question:** What does the swarm do on its coffee break?

**Answer:** Two small workers share a coffee large enough to sit beside and perch on. One brings a spoon that feels like a tool, even during a break.

**Palette:** ink blue `#263E4A`, clay `#BC593B`, honey `#D8A34C`; mug adds cream `#F3E9D7`.

## 2 — Early Rider

**Question:** How does a worker get to work in the morning?

**Answer:** A worker pedals a sturdy bicycle with coffee strapped to the rear rack. The first delivery of the day is their own cup.

**Palette:** deep teal `#244A49`, ochre `#C38342`, dusty blue `#718CA0`.

## 3 — Desk Picnic

**Question:** What's for lunch at a worker's desk?

**Answer:** A tiny worker eats a bento lunch beside an oversized tomato and an idle laptop. For a moment the lunch tray is the most important thing on the desk.

**Palette:** slate `#304B59`, tomato `#B5563D`, sage `#8A936A`.

## 4 — Quiet Hours

**Question:** What does the night shift look like at 3 AM?

**Answer:** One worker keeps a laptop company inside a small pool of lamplight. A cooling coffee and a crescent moon make the late hour clear without a clock or slogan.

**Palette:** midnight blue `#303E59`, lamplight `#D5AA55`, muted copper `#A76650`; mug adds cream `#F3E9D7`.

## File and production manifest

Each row lists both delivered files. PNG files contain actual raster art; SVG files are the editable native vector source with the same dimensions and art. Every SVG consists of hand-built paths, rectangles and circles, **native, not traced**, with no linked assets, embedded bitmaps, fonts, filters or gradients. SVG titles/descriptions are metadata, not printed words.

Tee layouts are for **Bella+Canvas 3001**, front DTG, top-centred. The art starts about 175–185 px below the canvas top and spans approximately 1,435–1,605 px, depending on badge shape; at an intended 140 pixels per printed inch, this is approximately **10.25–11.46 inches wide**. Preserve these canvas proportions when setting the print size; PNG resolution metadata is not a placement instruction. All embroidery files are **Yupoong 6245CM dad cap front**, with the symbol centred in the 1650×600 placement canvas, intended to sew approximately 3.5 inches wide. The cap marks simplify the family into broad, clean shapes; they do not carry the badge border or DTG flecks.

### Placement and transparency

- Tee, cap and tote PNGs have transparent backgrounds; corresponding SVGs have no background rectangle. Negative space shows the selected blank. No model, mockup, shadow or presentation frame is included; badge outlines are part of the artwork.
- Both mug wraps have opaque cream across the entire 2700×1050 canvas. Their two equal badge layouts are centred at **x=675 and x=2025**, y=525. Each occupies a nominal 800 px square including placement space, with ink narrower than 800 px, below the 830 px maximum. No art crosses the handle seam; the cream ground extends to all edges.
- The only embroidery thread hexes used are from the supplied whitelist. Each cap uses two or three flat thread colours. Small details, text and DTG distress have been omitted. The SVG is artwork for digitization, not an embroidery stitch program.
- Each print uses three flat inks, with the mug’s full-bleed ground making four. Edge antialiasing in PNG rasterization is not an additional designed ink, gradient or shading effect.

### Review and limitations

All twelve raster layouts were visually reviewed together for family consistency, cafe wearability, worker recognition, breathing room and subject clarity. The bicycle arm and the workers’ positions at the lunch and night desks were revised after review. All final PNGs were decoded and checked for exact dimensions, expected transparency and correspondence to the SVG canvas; vector palettes and word counts were checked separately.

**Unmet visual requirements: none identified in the local artwork review.** The scenes use the brief’s screen-print option, with clean flat shapes and a few native vector ink flecks, rather than simulated photographic risograph grain. No physical print or embroidery sew-out was available. Before production, the chosen review step is a print proof on the specified blank and an embroidery digitizer’s sew-out at the intended 3.5-inch width, with special attention to negative-space diamonds and the bicycle gaps. This production review does not replace the included local visual inspection.
