# Fren Pet Costume Contest 2026 — Group 2, Judge 6

I visually inspected the [collage](https://fren-pet-h2026-collage.rckmtlshared.chatgpt.site/FPCC-2026-actual-entries-A-G.png), the [normal-pet reference](https://fren-pet-h2026-collage.rckmtlshared.chatgpt.site/Fren-Pet-normal-appearance-reference.png), and every individual entry linked below. Judgments concern visible costume elements; backgrounds, labels, intrinsic pet traits and screenshot quality receive no credit.

## Observations

- **[A](https://fren-pet-h2026-collage.rckmtlshared.chatgpt.site/FPCC-2026-entry-A.png):** A horned gold-and-red helmet coordinates with layered shoulder, torso and leg armor; a tall gold-trimmed staff with a red tassel stands alongside. An imposing, cohesive warrior transformation with intricate ornament and a strong silhouette.
- **[B](https://fren-pet-h2026-collage.rckmtlshared.chatgpt.site/FPCC-2026-entry-B.png):** A shaded dark metal helmet has a slotted visor, a red eye-like gleam and a small pale cat-face ornament with a red bow. The cute ornament makes the stern knight helmet memorable, but the visible outfit feels concentrated on the head.

A polished historical officer ensemble with convincing clothing coordination, though less dramatic than the leading entries.

## Preference order

**F > E > A > D > G > C > B**

**Winner — F:** F deserves to win because its richly coordinated armor, sweeping purple sword and matching dark companion form a striking, unified fantasy costume. The contrasting gold and purple details deliver the strongest wow factor for me.

**Runner-up — E:** E deserves runner-up for its immediately readable painter transformation and unusually expressive props. The tiny landscape on the easel adds a second focal point that makes the whole presentation especially creative and memorable.

**Third place — A:** A deserves third for its finely layered armor, elaborate horned helmet and tasselled staff. These pieces sit convincingly together around the exposed face and give the pet a complete, commanding warrior outfit.

## Uncertainty

E and A are particularly close: I prefer E for its distinctive painter concept and illustrated prop, while A has the more elaborate armor treatment. Character identities are interpretations, not verified facts; the exact identity of F’s companion and G’s handheld object is uncertain. I credited visible costume additions, not natural pet faces, ears, tails or markings.
